The Forest School Ethos

Forest School is an inspirational process that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.

Exploring worms that live happily in the FRUK worm cafe

The FRUK team currently includes 4 staff members that are qualified Level 3 Forest School Practitioners and 4 whom are working towards completing their training. This entails a year-long programme with a recognised Forest School training provider gaining an OCN Level 3 in Advanced Forest School Leadership.

We also provide opportunities at FRUK for trainee Forest School practitioners and are recruiting for volunteer positions and paid internships for applicants who are undertaking the FS Level 3 qualification.
